A data top-up is an additional amount of megabytes or gigabytes that you add to your phone number. A data top-up is also called an internet connection, a data bundle, or an internet pass.

There are a wide variety of internet connection top-ups: the price depends on the number of megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB), and the validity period for using these MB/GB can vary from 1 to 30 days or more.

What is a data plan for?

A data plan is used to surf the internet, watch videos on YouTube, or make calls via WhatsApp.

An internet connection also allows you to check emails or download documents, images, or movies.

How do I send a data top-up?

Depending on the provider, you can:

• either send a data top-up alone, i.e., a number of megabytes or gigabytes of internet usage,
• or send a voice call plan plus an internet plan, often referred to as a bundle.
